Ukraine and Poland have agreed on the unauthorized passage of fuel trucks

The new rules have already entered into force.

Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and Ministry of Infrastructure and Development of Poland agreed to revoke permits for all carriers engaged in international transportation of fuel , the Ministry of Infrastructure said.

“Russia's missile strikes on refineries and oil depots have created a critical situation in the fuel market. The goal of the team of the Ministry of Infrastructure in these conditions is the full liberalization of international freight to solve this problem, “said Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov.

The new rules have already entered into force and Ukrainian and Polish carriers can take advantage of them .

However, crossing the territory of Poland requires registration of the relevant vehicles at least one day before crossing the state border.

Also, from tomorrow, the implementation of bilateral and transit transportation of goods through the territory of Ukraine by road carriers of certain countries will be carried out without the use of permits. In particular:

  • Latvian, Lithuanian, Danish, Estonian carriers – until the end of this year;
  • Italian, Greek, Hungarian, German carriers – until June 30, 2022;
  • Bulgarian, Georgian, Slovak, Austrian carriers – for the period of martial law.
