There are one and a half times more companies that are closing in the Russian Federation than newly created ones

Plus, the closing of companies prevents the moratorium on bankruptcies.

From March to June in the Russian Federation, 113 5 thousand companies. Growth compared to the previous year — 17.5%. At the same time, the pace of opening new businesses remained at about 78,500. That is, those who leave are about one and a half times more than those who enter the market. This is what Yulia Samaeva, the editor of the economics department of ZN.UA, writes about in the article“The economy of the Russian Federation has finally shaken”.

There is currently a moratorium on bankruptcies in the Russian Federation , which restrains this trend. When the bankruptcy moratorium ends, local experts are convinced that at least a quarter of small and medium-sized businesses will leave the market at the same time, leaving only those with stable demand, working in narrow niches or not tied to imported raw materials.

< p>In July, Russian companies recorded the biggest decline in production since April. In general, by 6%, but, for example, the production of goods of long-term use decreased by 58%. Due to the lack of raw materials and reduced demand, companies are not only curtailing production, they are also stopping investments and hiring new employees.
