“The war will be long”: the head of British intelligence shared his prediction

Be careful not to think in binary terms… Russia is clearly trying to build up its forces after heavy losses, but there is a lack of trust between the Russian political and military classes, notes Jim Hockenhull.

Neither Russia nor Ukraine probably will achieve decisive military action this year, this is his war prediction voiced by the head of military intelligence of Great Britain, Lieutenant General Jim Hawkenhull, the BBC reports. At the same time, the department headed by him closely monitors the potential use of nuclear weapons by the Kremlin.

Rarely has such a large amount of secret intelligence been shared with the public. But since the beginning of War-2022, the British Ministry of Defense Intelligence has been publishing daily updates. Predicting the further development of events in Ukraine, Hockenhull voiced the following theses:
