The United States and the European Union are close to an agreement on reducing Europe's dependence on Russian energy resources, according to Bloomberg .

The states are ready to supply Europe with natural gas and hydrogen, but their volumes, pricing and other details of the deal are still unknown.

According to Jake Sullivan, US President's National Security Adviser, one of the main priorities of Joe Biden and European allies is to reduce and end Europe's dependence on Russian gas, as well as a practical plan to achieve this goal.

By the way, due to the fact that Russia has launched a full-scale war against Ukraine, the United States has already given up Russian oil .
