The Ukrainian winner of the 2020 Olympics will sell his medal to help the APU

Ukrainian bronze medalist of the 2020 Olympics karateka Stanislav Goruna has decided to sell his medal at an eBay auction.

The 33-year-old athlete presented a medal for the charity series of World Sports For Ukraine auctions, which is held by Tribuna.com together with the volunteer organization Ukraine Alive 2022 and the Belarusian Sports Solidarity Fund. The starting price of the medal is 10,000 US dollars.

It will be recalled that Stanislav Goruna won bronze in the weight category up to 75 kg at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

In the semifinals, Goruna lost to Italian Luigi Busa and thus became a bronze medalist of the Games.

On February 24, Russian President Putin made an urgent statement about a special military operation in Ukraine, launching a large-scale invasion of Ukrainian cities.
