The Ukrainian tennis player won the doubles tournament in Slovenia

The Ukrainian woman won in a pair with a Czech athlete.

Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk and the Czech Republic's Tereza Martyntsova won the WTA 250 doubles tournament in Portoroz, Slovenia.

They easily defeated the Spaniard Kristina Buksha and Tereza Michalikova from Slovakia in the final with a score of 6:4, 6:0.

The game lasted 1 hour and 8 minutes. The pair of Ukrainian women performed 4 overhand serves, committed 1 double fault and realized 5/9 break points.

It should be noted that this is Marta's debut WTA doubles title.

“I want to thank to your mom, to your dad who went today, for your support, for always being there. Girls and boys serving the balls, thank you, you work hard, but trust me, it will help you in the future. Thanks to the referees, to the physiotherapists who helped, to everyone who made this tournament possible. At the moment, this is my first title and it is for Ukraine. Thank you. Glory to Ukraine,” Kostyuk shared her emotions.
