The Ukrainian director was a member of the jury of the Cannes Film Festival

Iryna Tsilyk joined the competition jury of the Golden Eye section.

Ukrainian director Iryna Tsilyk became the first Ukrainian to was a member of the jury of the Cannes Film Festival . Together with her colleagues, she will determine the best documentary in the Golden Eye section. Tsilik spoke about this on her Facebook page.

She also included French comedian Pierre Delodonsham, film critic Alex Vicente and Fifadoc CEO Hitch Falah. The jury of the Golden Eye section was headed by Polish director Agnieszka Holland (“Gareth Jones”).

“Vision of a Butterfly” about a woman warrior who was selected for the “Special Look” section. In addition, in the section “Biweekly of Directors”, which runs in parallel with the film review, will be presented the film “Pamphir”.

In addition, the projects of Ukrainian directors and producers will be presented at the Cannes Film Market.

It will be recalled that the State Cinema called on the Cannes Film Festival not to allow Russian films to take part.
