The seventh “Rammstein” will take place next week – the Pentagon

This time the meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine will be held online.

Next week the head of the Pentagon Lloyd J. Austin will hold another meeting of defense ministers of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine, better known as Ramstein, in the format of a video conference. This was announced by the deputy spokesperson of the US Ministry of Defense Sabrina Singh during a briefing on Thursday, Ukrinform reports. This meeting will be held virtually here at the Pentagon,” she said.

This will be the seventh meeting of defense ministers of about 50 allied countries of Ukraine in this format. As the Pentagon representative emphasized, they will meet via video conference to “discuss efforts aimed at providing Ukraine with the means to protect its sovereignty from further Russian aggression”.
