The Prosecutor General's Office approved the nomination of Olexander Klymenko to the position of the head of the SAP and informed about his compliance with the requirements of the laws on the purification of power and state secrets. The head of the competition commission, Kateryna Koval, informed about this.

“I want to inform you that we have received a response from the Prosecutor General's Office to our letter…. “To your letter about the compliance of candidates Klymenko and Synyuk with the requirements of the law of Ukraine on the purification of power and prevention corruption, as well as regarding their access to state secrets… we inform you… that candidate Klymenko meets the requirements of the Law of Ukraine on Purification of Power and Prevention of Corruption and the Law on State Secrets regarding obtaining access to state secrets. Candidate Sinyuk… meets the requirements of the laws,” Koval reported, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

The commission also approved the application for the appointment of Andriy Sinyuk as the deputy head of the SAP. These applications will be sent to the Prosecutor General's Office after Klymenko is appointed to the post. head of the SAP.

The commission approved the text of the submission and will send it to the Prosecutor General in the near future.
