G7 ambassadors in Ukraine express their concern about the interference of the Ukrainian authorities in the management of the state-owned LLC “Operator of the gas transport system of Ukraine” (OGTSU) and NEC “Ukrenergo”. The statement was published on Twitter.
“The G7 ambassadors are concerned about the intervention of the authorities in the management of the Operator of the GTS of Ukraine and Ukrenergo,” the message says.
It is noted that compliance with corporate governance reforms is primarily necessary for Ukraine itself, which will need the trust of investors after the war.
“Constant compliance with OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) corporate governance reforms” in state-owned enterprises will increase investor confidence, stop corruption and speed up post-war reconstruction,” the message of the G7 ambassadors emphasized.
