The PACE has elected Mykola Hnatovsky a judge of the European Court of Human Rights from Ukraine

167 delegates voted for his candidacy.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has elected an international lawyer, former President of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture Mykola Hnatovsky, Judge of the European Court of Human Rights of Ukraine. This was reported by the PACE press service. It is noted that Gnatovsky won an absolute majority of votes and will now hold office for nine years.

According to the results of the vote, his candidacy was supported by 167 delegates. The other two candidates, Tetyana Antsupova and Oleksandr Vodyannikov, received 20 and 0 votes, respectively.
