The number of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation against the cultural heritage of Ukraine has exceeded four hundred – data from the ICIP

Destruction of cultural heritage sites is a war crime under the 1954 Hague Convention.

Number of Russian war crimes against Ukrainian cultural heritage has already reached 417 episodes. Statistics are provided by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy on Facebook.

MKIP employees are currently systematizing the received information, checking it and then publishing it on the site culturecrimes.mkip.gov.ua.

The department reminds , that the destruction of cultural heritage objects is a war crime under the Hague Convention of 1954. And they urge you to join the documentation process, but at the same time ask to remember personal safety.
