The new Prosecutor General Kostin begins staff reshuffles in the main Office and purges in the regions – document

According to the source information ZN.UA in the Prosecutor General's Office, Olexii Symonenko will definitely hold the position of deputy. He briefly replaced Irina Venediktova as acting Symonenko, remains in the structure thanks to his old merits and the supervision of the deputy head of the OPU Tatarov.

The first deputy of ex-prosecutor general Venediiktova Roman Govda will lose his position. And the decision regarding Maxim Yakubovskyi— so far it has hung. Yakubovsky will retire in September and, according to the source, he has a chance to take over from the high position of deputy prosecutor general.

While Andrii Kostin, approved by the parliament for his position last week, checkerboard for the immediate environment, an important letter has already flown to a number of regional units of the prosecutor's office. The document was signed by the head of the crime prevention department in the prosecutor's office, who headed the commission for official investigation.

The letter unequivocally informs that the order of the Prosecutor General dated August 1, 2002 No. 143 appointed an official investigation to check the involvement of prosecutors of the prosecutor's office of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions in carrying out actions that defame the rank prosecutor and may raise doubts about his objectivity, honesty, independence and incorruptibility.

During the investigation, the commission intends to find out the reasons that contributed to such consequences. The letter does not mention collaborators and traitors, which is actively talked about in the bowels of the government after the departure of Venediktova, who allegedly did not cope with this task. But the list includes regions that were directly affected by the war.
