The new ambassador of Ukraine to Poland has officially started his mission

The diplomat presented the credentials to the Polish president.

The new ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Vasyl Zvarych officially started his mission in Warsaw. During the ceremony at the Belvedere Palace, the diplomat presented the credentials to President Andrzej Duda. the head of the Bureau of International Policy of the President of Poland, Jakub Kumokh, broadcasts the event, “Polish Radio”.

“The ambassador is an experienced diplomat. He was in Warsaw for many years. He speaks Polish perfectly. He understands the situation well. We understand each other well. I am sure that we will have a good cooperation. Just as the Ukrainian authorities cooperate well with the ambassador of Poland, Bartosz Cihotski, who knows Ukraine well and also speaks Ukrainian well,” added Jakub Kumokh.

Vasyl Zvarych replaced ambassador Andriy Deshchytsa, who held this position since 2014. The new ambassador was appointed on February 8, but due to Russian aggression against Ukraine, he came to Poland only in June.
