April 27 national hockey team of Ukraine held the first match at the 2022 World Cup in Division 1B.

The Ukrainians met with Serbia and won a landslide victory with a score of 7: 0.

Goals in the opponent's goal were scored by Alexander Peresunko, Vadym Mazur, Dmytro Nimenko, Felix Morozov and Vitaliy Lyalka.
