The National Bank warned that from September currency exchangers will work in a new way

Exchange points must install cameras and provide video surveillance.

Requirements for currency exchange offices continue to grow. Currently, exchangers have until August 31 to equip their premises with technological video control systems. This was reported by the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine.

And this applies to the premises of all non-banking financial institutions and postal operators that carry out trade in currency values.

However, previously exchangers had to install cameras until August 3.

“Given the conditions of martial law and the appeal of market participants, the National Bank has extended this deadline until August 31, 2022,” the regulator reported.
