The Minister of Defense of Israel rules out the supply of weapons to Ukraine

Gantz was very categorical in his statements

Israel has not supplied weapons to Ukraine and intends to continue to adhere to such a policy, and the aid to Ukraine is exclusively medical and humanitarian in nature, said the head of the Israeli Defense Ministry, Benny Gantz, on the Kol Chai radio station.

“I want to clearly state that we do not sell weapons to Ukraine,” he said.

Hantz emphasized that Israel provided Ukraine only with medical and humanitarian aid.

During the broadcast, the minister emphasized several times that Kyiv did not receive any weapons from Israel and commented on the statement of the Israeli Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Nachman Shai, who believes that the country should start providing military aid to Ukraine following the example of the USA and other NATO countries.

“If Nahman Shai claims that we have sold or will sell arms to Ukraine, then he is wrong. I am the Minister of Defense and I am responsible for arms exports from Israel,” Gantz stressed.
