The leaders of the United States and Canada discussed joint action to bring Russia to justice

Joe Biden and Justin Trudeau discussed the agenda: Russian aggression in Ukraine and the upcoming American Summit.

US President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau agreed in a telephone conversation on further steps to bring Russia to justice for a military attack on Ukraine. The talks were announced on the White House website.

“Both leaders stressed their readiness to continue to hold Russia accountable for its atrocities in Ukraine. ongoing efforts to provide security assistance to the Ukrainian government, as well as economic and humanitarian assistance to the millions of Ukrainians affected by the violence, “the statement said.

Joe Biden praised the partnership with the Government of Canada and thanked for the leadership in imposing comprehensive sanctions and restrictions against Russia.

Separately, US leaders discussed the upcoming summit of North and South America, which will take place in June this year and agreed on a common position on the environmental situation in the Western Hemisphere.

It will be recalled that Montenegro announced its intention to join Western sanctions against Russia earlier.
