The Kremlin is playing the “Crimean” card of annexation: “L-DNR” simultaneously asked the Russian Federation

As predicted by ZN.UA, pseudo-referendums can be held on November 4.

again declared their intention to “reunite with Russia”.

On September 19, the so-called public chambers of illegal formations appealed to their leaders Leonid Pasichnyk and Denys Pushylin with a request to hold such “referendums” as soon as possible.

“We want the border of the Russian Federation to run between us and Ukraine. I ask the “President of the Republic” Denis Volodymyrovych Pushylin and the “People's Council of the DPR” to make a relevant historic decision on the immediate holding of the referendum,” said the head of the “Public Chamber of the DPR” Olexander Kofman.

“The Public Chamber of the Luhansk People's Republic takes the initiative to immediately hold a referendum on the recognition of the LPR as a subject of the Russian Federation,” the Luhansk militants said in a statement.

After that, Pushylin and Pasichnik held a telephone conversation, agreeing to “join forces” for joint preparations for pseudo-referendums. The approximate date is called November 4.

If earlier Russia avoided specifics, promising quasi-republics “reunification” in the near future, now officials and bodies have reacted extremely quickly.

Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Public Chamber of Russia Maxim Grigoriev > stated that the State Government is ready to ensure public control of the vote for the inclusion of the “republics” in the federation.

“The question of holding a referendum is absolutely overdue and, no matter how hard they try to prevent it, I think it will definitely take place. For our part, the State Department of the Russian Federation, the public chambers of our regions, of course, will do everything to ensure full transparency and public control,” Grigoryev noted.

And the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, coordinator of inter-parliamentary relations of relations with the “People's Council of the LPR” and the first deputy chairman of the committee on CIS affairs and relations with compatriots Viktor Vodolatskyi said that the “referendums” should be held already this fall

“It has to happen faster. The head of the republic is obliged to respond to the appeal in the near future. It will be autumn, but not late,” he said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the “independence” of controlled quasi-republics on the eve of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, having received a formal pretext for the attack.< /p>

During the seven months of the war, the Kremlin decided to go all-in, organizing the annexation of Donbas according to the “Crimean scenario.” The illegal recognition of the Ukrainian region as a subject of the federation will give the aggressor a reason to turn the war against Ukraine into a full-fledged war between Ukraine and NATO against the Russian Federation: strikes on the territory of the two regions will be interpreted by Russia as an attack on itself. That will free the hands of the aggressor in all respects.
