The IOC has denied Russia and Belarus the opportunity to broadcast the 2026 and 2028 Olympics

Both countries are excluded from the list of bidders.

Russia and Belarus were not allowed to participate in tenders for the acquisition of television rights to show the 2026 and 2028 Olympic Games, reports Tribuna.com.

In the official press release of the International Olympic Committee, both countries are absent. The tender documents were approved by April 25. It should be noted that in a February 24 IOC statement, Russia and Belarus were on the list, but were excluded from the process after the military invasion of Ukraine began. The aggressors violated the Olympic Armistice.

It will be recalled that Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo will host the 2026 Winter Olympics, and the 2028 Summer Games will be held in Los Angeles.

It should be noted that that virtually all sports of the aggressor country and its partner found themselves in isolation.
