The government canceled the critical import of goods – the deputy

The basis was the adoption of the law known as “cancellation of duty-free importation of Europlates”.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine canceled the list of critical import of goods, People's Deputy from the “Voice” party Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced on Thursday, July 7.

“The Cabinet of Ministers canceled critical import of goods. But for the import of services, restrictions still remain in place to a limited extent,” he wrote in Telegram.

We would like to remind you that with the beginning of the war, the National Bank of Ukraine limited foreign currency payments and allowed payment only for the list of critical imports, which was approved by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.

At the same time, the Law No. 7418 “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and other legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the revision of certain tax benefits”, adopted in June, which came into force on July 1, created grounds for canceling the List of Critically Imported Goods.

The List of Critically Imported Goods was revised upwards 18 times, as Ukrainian business needed it and almost all changes to the Resolution on Critical Imports were made on the basis of appeals from Ukrainian companies. Today, the list of critical import goods contains about 90% of all product categories.

What else is important, apart from the customs regulation for imported cars, can fundamentally change thanks to Law No. 7418, known to all as canceling duty-free import of cars into Ukraine, explains Tatyana Yashchenko in the text “Changes for the importer. What to prepare for?”.
