The Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and the Netherlands discussed the possibility of establishing a special tribunal for Russian war criminals

Ukraine hopes that the Netherlands will support the idea of ​​establishing a special tribunal to consider Russian war crimes in Ukraine. This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba at a joint briefing with Dutch Foreign Minister Wopke Gukstroy in The Hague.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian minister said he shared the idea of ​​creating a special tribunal with a number of foreign colleagues.

“I always prefer justice. Ukraine fully supports the idea of ​​establishing a special ad hoc tribunal to hear the case of the crime of Russian aggression against Ukraine. I sent letters to dozens of foreign ministers, including Vopke, proposing the idea. I am looking forward to the position of the Netherlands, “Kuleba said.

At a meeting with Vopke Gukstroy, the Foreign Minister also discussed possible assistance from the Netherlands in rebuilding Ukraine. A Dutch colleague assured Kuleba that his country would do everything in its power to effectively help our state.
