The Council will continue the martial law at the next meeting – deputy

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the next plenary meeting again < strong>will extend the period of martial law in Ukraine and mobilization, People's Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak said.

According to him, the relevant presidential decree will be submitted to the parliament for a vote in the coming days.

< p>“This will be the fourth extension this year. The last time martial law was extended for 90 days, until August 23,” he recalled.

The People's Representative noted that the term of the extension of martial law is still unknown, but it is expected that it will also be quite long.

“We should also expect a decree on mobilization, which is tied to the term of martial law,” added Zheleznyak.

We remind you that on May 22, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine extended martial law in the country for 90 days until August 23, 2022.
