The basketball team of Ukraine has decided on the venue for the home matches of the 2023 World Cup qualifiers

Ukrainians will play in Latvia.

Men's national basketball team of Ukraine < will hold home qualifying matches for the 2023 World Cup in the Latvian capital Riga, according to the FBU.

On July 1, Ukrainians will play a match against Georgia at the Arena-Riga. On July 7, the national team of Ukraine will meet Spain. This match was supposed to take place on February 27 in Kyiv, but it was postponed due to a full-scale attack by Russia.

Ukraine will also play an away match against Northern Macedonia on July 4.

It will be recalled that in the first stage of selection the national team of Ukraine played three matches out of six. In the assets of the Ukrainians victory over the Macedonians with two defeats by the Georgians and Spaniards. The teams that will take the first three places in the group will advance to the next round.
