Sting's wife Trudy Styler met with refugees from Ukraine in Poland

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the singer and his wife have spoken out in support of our country.

Film producer, actress, activist and the wife of British musician Sting Trudy Styler came to Lublin to meet with Ukrainian refugees and volunteers. Sting and his family have sided with Ukraine since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, and are working with the Help Ukraine Center.

Styler said she and Sting will support Ukraine as much as needed. She also reacted emotionally to the story of a volunteer who had to flee the war for the second time. In 2014, she was forced to leave her home in eastern Ukraine and now move to Poland.

Styler arrived in Lublin on May 1-2, and visited a dormitory housing 200 Ukrainian families, including volunteers. She also visited humanitarian aid and talked to volunteers.

During the meeting with the volunteers of the center, Styler expressed her admiration for the struggle and courage of Ukrainians: “Ukrainians are strengthened by faith in their community, country and their leader. I hear the same thing from volunteers and migrants: “I want to be useful, I want to do something.” There are so many struggles, so many courage and so many opportunities in the Ukrainian people – this is what I saw today. ”

During her stay at the Help Ukraine Center, Styler stated that she intends to continue her work to help Ukraine. She also left a commemorative inscription on the “Wall of Memory”, where guests and visitors of the center traditionally write their wishes. She wrote: “We love you. We support you. We will stay with you as long as it takes until spring comes again in beautiful Ukraine. Trudy and Sting. ”
