Russian restaurants have faced difficulties in supplying food due to sanctions imposed on Russia over the war in Ukraine. This was reported in the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hotels of Russia, according to Russian media.

We are talking about vegetables, salads and some types of fish, said the vice president of the organization Sergei Mironov.

Some partners have suspended deliveries. They also made changes to working conditions, such as reducing the deferral period or canceling it altogether.

The range and purchase price of alcoholic products have changed the most due to disruptions in logistics. While stocks of alcohol should be enough for 3-4 months.

The purchase price of many goods has increased from 30 to 80%, depending on the category.

Interruptions in supply concern both imported and domestic goods. The decline in imports leads to an increase in demand for Russian products, which may be in short supply, hence the shortage and prices.
