Russian comedian Maxim Galkin was excluded from the “black list” of the Ministry of Culture

The comedian spoke out against Russia's war in Ukraine.

Russian humorist Maxim Galkin excluded from the list of persons who pose a threat to the national security of Ukraine. This is evidenced by the data of the website of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

According to the website, changes to the list were made on June 21, at the same time which are not specified there. After that, Galkin's name disappeared from the list, now there are 209 people in it.

Galkin was blacklisted Ministry of Culture in November last year. It is known that in 2014 the comedian came to the Russian-occupied Crimea and participated in the jury of the festival “Five Stars”, dedicated to the celebration of Russia Day.

After the start of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Galkin condemned the aggression against our country, after which Russia began to persecute him. In the aggressor country, Galkin's speeches began to be canceled, and advertisers refused to cooperate. The artist left Russia for Israel with his wife Alla Pugacheva and two children.

In recent months, the artist has repeatedly condemned the actions of the Russian authorities and the army, and also stated that he would donate part of the royalties from concerts in Israel to help Ukrainian refugees.
