Russian clubs are suspended from the next season's basketball Euroleague

The tournament management voted on this issue.

Russian clubs will not play in the Euroleague season-2022/23, according to BasketNews.

The tournament organizers voted – this step was supported by 7 of the 11 clubs that are part of the Euroleague. Serbian Partizan and Spanish Valencia have won the new season of the tournament.

In February, after the start of a full-scale military invasion of Russia by Ukraine, the Euroleague Council suspended the participation of Russian teams in European tournaments. Then all the results of the Russians were annulled.

Russia's Zenit, CSKA and UNICS played in the Euroleague. It should be noted that CSKA is also a shareholder in the tournament.
