“Russia today is the most direct threat to the world order with its barbaric war against Ukraine and the alarming pact with China and their call for “new and very arbitrary international relations,” von der Leyen said.

The European Commission noted that not only the future of Ukraine and Europe is at stake, but also the entire world order based on international rules.
