President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the information campaign, which arranged by the Minister of Defense of Russia Serhii Shoigu, about alleged provocations by Ukraine with the use of a dirty bomb.
According to Zelensky, Russia thus prepared a new escalation step.
“When today the Russian Minister of Defense sets up a phone carousel and calls foreign ministers with stories about the so-called dirty nuclear bomb, everyone understands everything well. They understand who is the source of everything dirty that can be imagined in this war. And if someone can use a nuclear weapons in our part of Europe, it is only one subject – and this subject just ordered Comrade Shoigu to call somewhere there,” the president noted.
He called on the world to react to yet another Russian provocation.
“I believe that now the world should react as harshly as possible. If Russia has prepared another rate hike and another escalating step, it should already, preemptively and before any new “dirt” of its own, see that the world will not swallow it. Even by itself the Russian threat of nuclear weapons, and even more so against our country, which has given its nuclear arsenal under promises of security from the largest nuclear powers, are grounds for sanctions and even greater support for Ukraine,” Zelenskyy said in the evening video address.
