This is the second such case in a week.

Officials of the USA, Canada, Japan, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Italy and Norway in protest left the joint meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank during the speech of the representative of the Russian Federation. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing its own sources.

According to them, this happened at a closed session of the Development Committee. The publication explained that this is a forum at the level of the World Bank and IMF ministers, consisting of 25 members, usually finance or development ministers.

This is the second time in a week that Russia has boycotted at international meetings .

On Wednesday, several countries around the world took similar actions at the G20 meeting , where, in particular, they discussed the economic risks caused by the Russian war against Ukraine.
