Ukraine's losses are estimated to be much higher.

Ukraine plans to receive reparations from Russia in the amount of 300 billion dollars due to the damage caused by a full-scale war. This was stated by the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denys Malyuska, Deutsche Welle reports.

He noted that at the UN General Assembly, Ukraine is going to achieve the adoption of a resolution on which the creation of an international compensation mechanism should be based in the future.

< However, the publication emphasized that Ukraine's losses from the war are estimated to be much higher. The amount of 300 billion dollars corresponds to the assets of the Central Bank of Russia in the G7 countries, frozen due to sanctions.

“We want to receive compensation for all the damage that Russia has caused to Ukraine with its aggressive war,” Malyuska said.

Kyiv requested access to these funds, as well as to foreign assets of Russian state-owned enterprises and confiscated property of Russian oligarchs.
