Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin became the third Ukrainian footballer in history, who won the Champions League .

For the 23-year-old goalkeeper, the tournament was won by Andriy Shevchenko with Milan in the 2002/03 season, as well as Anatoliy Tymoschuk from “Bayern” in the season 2012/13.

After the final, in which “Real” defeated “Liverpool” with a score of 1: 0, Lunin wrapped the Champions League trophy in the Ukrainian flag and posted an address on Instagram.

“Champions Cup with Ukrainian flag. Now it is important not to forget about our country and what is happening. I hope this moment and this game gave Ukrainians smiles.”
