Rapper Coolio, singer of the hit Gangsta's Paradise, has died

The musician was 59 years old.

x Gangsta's Paradise, died at the age of 59, reports CNN citing his manager Jarez Posey. According to him, the musician died in Los Angeles.

The cause of Coolio's death has not been disclosed.

In the Office The Los Angeles Fire Department told CNN that firefighters and paramedics responded to the call. Arriving at the scene, they found the man's body without signs of life and performed resuscitation measures for 45 minutes. But they were forced to state the death of the patient.

Coolio gained world fame in 1995 after the release of the film “Dangerous Minds”, in which the main role was played by Michelle Pfeiffer. It played the song Gangsta's Paradise. In the same year, the song became the best-selling single in the United States, and Coolio himself received a Grammy Award for best rap performance.
