After that, the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov commented on calls to “go to Ukraine to the end,” according to Russian media. He noted that “Stalingrad is not and should not be in the calendar.”

Peskov also called on citizens to refrain from emotions.

“Negotiations are being handled by professionals, we need to trust them. The position of the Russian side is well known, it is logical, it has a solid foundation, and this position has not changed,” he told reporters.

It will be recalled that the head of the legal group at the talks between Ukraine and Russia, Alexander Chaly, said that security guarantees should be analogous to Article 5 of NATO.
