Oleksandr Tkachenko ashamed in front of Poles and Lithuanians for evaluations of the jury from Ukraine at Eurovision

Our jury gave zero points to the participants of both countries, and instead their jury evaluated the performance of Kalush Orchestra at 12.

Minister of Culture Oleksandr Tkachenko reacted to the assessments made by a professional jury from Ukraine at the” Eurovision-2022 “ to representatives from Lithuania and Poland. As Tkachenko wrote on his Facebook page, he is “very ashamed”.

The Minister assured that the assessment made by the jury members from Ukraine does not affect the attitude of Ukrainians towards Poles and Lithuanians.

“I would like to address our closest friends in Europe – Poland and Lithuania and express my personal position on evaluation given by the jury from Ukraine to Poland and Lithuania. This assessment in no way reflects our real attitude towards you, our closest friends in Europe. Yes, the British were cool and second. But it is a shame to put Poles and Lithuanians 0. The people of Ukraine have given you 12! ”Oleksandr Tkachenko wrote.

He thanked both countries for the maximum scores at Eurovision and for the support of Ukraine in general. “Your support for Ukraine is invaluable. Our gratitude and affection for you is the same, Dear Polish and Lithuanian peoples, we are infinitely grateful to you, our victory is common. Both at Eurovision and the one over the enemy. ”
