New Zealand has imposed sanctions on Russian officials and defense companies

The list of organizations is not disclosed yet.

New Zealand imposes sanctions on 170 members of the Federation Council and a number of Russian defense companies. This was announced by Foreign Minister Nana Mahuta, according to Russian media.

However, the list of organizations has not yet been disclosed.

Earlier, the country imposed sanctions on 18 Russian financial institutions. The list includes the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the National Welfare Fund.

Earlier it was reported that the government of Novaya Zealand has agreed on non-lethal military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of almost $ 5 million.

The head of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power stressed that it was war and not sanctions against Russia, has led to rising food prices.
