NABU reported suspicions to eight persons from “Ukrnafta”

Developments in this case began with the appointment of a new head of the SAP.

NABU and SAP investigators reported suspicion to 8 regarding the acquisition of property and funds of PJSC “Ukrnafta” in the amount of more than UAH 13.3 billion. This is stated in the notification of NABU.

The actions of the suspects, including the former chairman of the board of PJSC “Ukrnafta” and former directors of 5 commercial enterprises, are qualified under Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The investigation established a number of episodes in which PJSC “Ukrnafta” concluded and paid for contracts for the purchase and sale of oil, which turned out to be fictitious.

In particular, during 2015, contracts in the amount of UAH 10.7 billion and 2, UAH 57 billion for the supply of petroleum products, which Ukrnafta ultimately did not receive, and the spent funds were transferred abroad to the accounts of a number of offshore companies.

According to the investigation, the companies with which contracts for the supply of oil were concluded associated with companies of the “Privat” group.

Note that the result of the cases, drafts of suspicions for which were ready as early as 2020, but their signing was blocked, appeared with the change of the head of the SAP, to which Ihor Klymenko was appointed in July.

Earlier it was reported that the court < strong>handed over to the state gas worth UAH 83 million, which Ukrnafta probably wanted to sell to Kolomoisky's firms.
