NABU is studying Kobolev's “role” in the case of billion-dollar losses of Ukrnafta in favor of Kolomoiskyi

We are talking about unfavorable contracts for “Ukrnafta” in favor of companies related to Kolomoiskyi.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) is investigating regarding the former chairman of Naftogaz Ukraine Andrii Kobolev regarding violations at the state-owned enterprise Ukrnafta. This follows from the published decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court.

“Chairman of the Board of PJSC “NAC Naftogaz Ukraine” and the Supervisory Board of PJSC “Ukrnafta” PERSON_2, abusing his official position, did not take actions to return PJSC “Ukrnafta” to state control by suspending a number of persons from performing their duties, thereby causing grave consequences for the state interests in the form of an increase in the tax debt of PJSC “Ukrnafta” by 5.49 billion UAH,” the resolution reads. hryvnias, probably for the benefit of companies associated with Igor Kolomoiskyi's Privat group.

According to the NABU case, in March-August 2015, Ukrnafta sold oil worth UAH 10.7 billion to a number of companies. The companies received the oil, but the money was not paid. After that, the oil was processed at the Kremenchug Oil Refinery, which is controlled by Privat Kolomoisky, and the produced oil products were sold at the gas station.

Another episode concerns July 2015, when Ukrnafta purchased oil by paying UAH 2.57 billion in advance. but never received it.

The number of criminal episodes in this case is greater than reported in NABU, according to an extract from the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations, which was published in the court register.

It was reported that Ihor Kolomoisky was searched by NABU detectives during which documents, a gadget were seized, and its contents were downloaded. Witnesses of the events told ZN.UA about this.
