The company has decided on its future in Russia.

The procedure for terminating the production and operating activities of the German concern has started Siemens in Russia. According to the company's official statement, Siemens will leave the Russian market due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Siemens reminded that after the start of Russia's war in Ukraine, the company suspended new operations and international supplies to Russia and Belarus. International sanctions and potential countermeasures affect the company's operations in Russia, including railway maintenance and repair.

It is noted that two separate companies were represented in Russia – Siemens and Siemens Energy.

Siemens Gamesa, a member of Siemens Energy, is also a partner of Enel Russia (MOEX: ENRU) in renewable energy projects in Russia.
