Medvedchuk is cooperating with the investigation – Bakanov

He noted that the detainee's testimony made it clear what the state policy was like before.

SBU Chairman Ivan Bakanov stated that the leader of the OPZZ and the godfather of Russian dictator Viktor Medvedchuk is cooperating with the investigation. He said this during a telethon.

“Medvedchuk is currently cooperating with the investigation and we welcome the readiness to tell the details of the cases in which he is accused. And although in this case we are talking about the events of 2014-2015, today we can fully assess their impact on the economy and security of our country. “That's when the foundation of today's events was laid. The current war is a direct consequence of Russia's policy, which has tried to keep its rise to Ukraine,” he said, adding that Medvedchuk's testimony made it clear what the state's policy was before.

Bakanov noted that an investigation is underway. Work with Medvedchuk and other suspects will continue. “Only the court will put an end to this case,” Bakanov added.
