Macron reaffirmed Zelensky's readiness to work on “restoring Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity”

At the same time, Macron told Zelensky about his “deep concern” over the continuation of Russian strikes on the territory of Ukraine. The French president told his Ukrainian counterpart that he was particularly concerned about the rocket attack on Kyiv on April 28 during a visit by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Macron is also particularly concerned about the situation in Mariupol, where the occupiers still do not allow the opening of a humanitarian corridor, despite calls from Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin to abide by international humanitarian law.

In addition to military and humanitarian aid, Macron promised Zelensky to continue the mission of French experts who help gather evidence of crimes committed by the Russian army in Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked his French counterpart for the already sent 615 tons of aid.
