Legendary boxer Mayweather knocked out his opponent in an exhibition fight

The 45-year-old American once again showed that he is in excellent shape.

World champion in five divisions Floyd Mayweather Jr. held another exhibition match.

The fight of the 45-year-old boxing star took place in Japan at the Saitama Arena, and the American's opponent was the local MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura.

Asakura landed several accurate blows, but the Japanese wasn't enough for more. Already at the end of the second round, Mayweather managed to launch an attack from the right, after which the opponent fell and could not continue the fight. The referee recorded the knockout.

For this fight, the legendary boxer received 20 million dollars.

It will be recalled that in his last official boxing match in 2017, Mayweather defeated Irish ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor by technical knockout. Floyd has a total of 50 victories (27 by knockout) without defeat. The American actively continues to hold exhibition fights.
