Lazebna, head of the Ministry of Social Policy, is resigning

This week Lazebnya was appointed a deputy without work experience and the necessary education.

Minister of Social Policy Maryna Lazebna< /strong> has submitted a resignation letter.

“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has received an application from Lazebnaya Maryna Volodymyrivna to resign from the position of Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine,” wrote the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk< in Telegram /strong>.

On July 10, 25-year-old Hanna Sergeeva was appointed Lazebnaya's deputy for European integration. The newly appointed official does not have the necessary education and work experience for this.

Sergeeva has been working in the civil service for a year, before that she worked as a director of the company “Service Revisor”, which provided services to beauty salons, and was also engaged in “public activities of a social orientation” .

Marina Lazebna headed the ministry in March 2020, becoming part of the team of Denys Shmyhal, who headed the government after the resignation of Oleksii Honcharuk.

In August 2019, Lazebna headed the State Social Service. She previously worked at the Ministry of Social Policy (Department of Labor and Employment), managed the State Employment Service until its liquidation in 2014.
