Kyiv region is starting to provide new apartments for those who lost their homes due to the war

A tender has been announced for 100 apartments in four oblasts.

Residents of Kyiv region who lost their homes due to the war , promised new housing. This was stated by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Pavliuk. And the process has already begun – a tender has been announced for the purchase of 100 apartments.

“Currently, we are considering two solutions – the purchase of apartments in already built houses and the construction of two neighborhoods in Borodyanka and Irpen,” – said on the website of KOVA with reference to Pavlyuk.

At the same time for each family there will be an individual approach. According to Pavlyuk, each family that has lost their home needs to be communicated with individually to understand their needs. As for the private sector, the question is open. A separate action plan will be developed on it.

At the same time, the State Fund for Youth Development has announced the purchase of housing for further transfer to internally displaced persons, from large families whose homes were destroyed as a result of Russian aggression.

Housing is purchased in the following regions of Ukraine: Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv. Housing can be purchased from individuals and legal entities that own such housing.

Number of apartments planned for purchase:

Zhytomyr region – 10 apartments;

Kyiv region – 35 apartments;

Sumy region – 20 apartments;

Chernihiv region – 35 apartments.

Recall that as of April, at least 219 thousand people lost their homes as a result of the occupation. We recently reported that temporary housing for pregnant women is being built in Lviv. Construction is scheduled to be completed by July.

It was also reported that in Borodyanka in the coming days is to complete the construction of a modular town for city residents who lost their homes as a result of the occupation of Kyiv region.
