Jerry Heil was nominated for an MME European Music Award

The European Union Prize is awarded to young artists.

Ukrainian singer and songwriter Jerry Heil was nominated for winning the music prize of the European Union Music Moves Europe Awards 2022. It is awarded to young artists who represent the sound of Europe today and in the future.

As the organizers of the award note, “today Jerry Heil inspires millions of YouTube users with his songs and covers. She also sends an important message to the world against war together with the MME Award winner Alyona Alyona”.

In total, 15 candidates are competing for the award musicians from Europe: Amelie Siba (Czech Republic), CMAT (Ireland), eee gee (Denmark), Goldkimono (Netherlands), Hause Plants (Portugal), Jerry Heil (Ukraine), July Jones (Slovenia), Kids Return (France), Koikoi (Serbia), Monikaze (Lithuania), Oska (Austria), Queralt Lahoz (Spain), Sans Soucis (Italy), schmyt (Germany), The Haunted Youth (Belgium).

Site users can vote for an artist in the nomination Public Choice Award 2023. Five artists will be chosen as winners of the international jury and one of them will receive the Grand Jury Prize. Laureates will be named at the awards ceremony in January 2023.

The MME Awards are a transformation of the European Border Breakers Awards (EBBA) and the Music Moves Europe Talent Award (MMETA), which have been awarded by the EU since 2004. Previously, such artists as Stromae, Adele, Mumford & Sons, Dua Lipa, Rosalia, Meduza, Lous and Yakuza, Inhaler and Alyona Alyona received the award.
