It's just a little thing: Zelensky denies rumors about a misunderstanding with the General Staff

He says that unity against Russia eliminates all misunderstandings.

President Volodymyr Zelensky assures that between him and There are no misunderstandings by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the sensational issue of permits for the transfer of conscripts is only a “minor mistake” compared to unity against Russia.

“Today we had meeting with the military. We have these meetings every day, but today there was a separate meeting regarding the decision of the General Staff on July 5. We decided that the decision was not made quite correctly and it will be reversed,” Ukrainian Pravda quoted the president as saying.

Zelensky assured journalists that “there are no misunderstandings” between him and the General Staff.

< p>“This is a small mistake compared to the great unity that we demonstrate in the face of the Russian threat. It's just a little thing. It's about nothing,” Zelenskyy said.

We would like to remind you that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on July 5, that  developed the Procedure for granting permission to leave the borders of the place of residence  to citizens of Ukraine who are on military registration during martial law, as such permits are required by law.

At the same time, information appeared in the media that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy personally instructed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny to cancel the Order, some persons from the President's Office expressed dissatisfaction with Zaluzhny's actions.

Later, the chief of the General Staff announced that the current document had been canceled, and a new one would be drafted instead, taking into account all changes to the laws of Ukraine and subordinate legal acts. Zaluzhny also stated that, in essence, a formal internal document became the basis for manipulation and discrediting the Armed Forces.
