Iranian weapons are slowly dragging Israel to the side of Ukraine – Bloomberg

Jerusalem understands that Iran can increase its capabilities to strike Israel.

Israel, which previously did not want to provide military aid to Ukraine for protection from the Russian army, is gradually changing its position on this issue. The reason is that Iran's growing support for the Russian invasion is becoming a threat to Israel's security, according to Bloomberg, so the local authorities have reconsidered their attitude to cooperation with Kyiv.

In a conversation with Oleksiy Reznikov, the head of the Israeli Defense Ministry, Benny Gantz, said that Tel Aviv will help Kyiv develop an early warning system of missile strikes, similar to its own. Gantz also agreed to “assess Ukraine's needs for air defense equipment.” This actually became a turning point in Israel's neutral position.

Also, Israel is considering an option under which the country would be able to supply anti-missile and unmanned equipment to other states, and they, in turn, would supply it to Ukraine.

Spokesmen for Gantz and the Israeli prime minister's office declined to comment on the issue. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran did not respond to requests for comments.
