In Ukraine, the electricity tariff for the population will not be increased yet

The tariff of UAH 1.68/kW will be valid throughout the heating season.

The government has extended special duties for market participants of electricity, which will allow not to increase the tariff for Ukrainians until the end of the heating season, the Ministry of Energy reported.

The current prices for electricity for household consumers will be maintained during the autumn-winter period of 2022-2023 – until March 31. Currently, the tariff for individual household consumers is UAH 1.44/kWh for consumption of up to 250 kW per month and UAH 1.68/kW for more than 250 kW.

Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko > emphasized that such a decision will reduce the financial burden for Ukrainians. And he thanked those who pay for the consumed electricity on time.

“I am grateful to everyone for the timely payment of electricity, it is extremely important for the stable operation of our energy companies and the prompt repair of facilities and equipment damaged due to enemy attacks.” – remarked Galushchenko.
