In Ukraine, Russians and Belarusians were banned from participating in hockey competitions

The decision was made officially.

Hockey Federation of Ukraine officially banned players from Russia and Belarus from participating in the championship of Ukraine.

This decision was made at a meeting of the Council of the Hockey Federation of Ukraine.

Thus, FHU was the first among the national sports federations of Ukraine to approve clause prohibiting participation of Russians and Belarusians in domestic competitions.

Recall that on February 24, Russian President Putin made an urgent statement on conducting a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, launching a large-scale invasion of Ukrainian cities.

< After that, Russian sports began to sink into complete isolation. There are practically no world federations left that would not exclude Russians from their competitions.
